Membership Information - 2024 Memberships Now Open

You can join ADHOC via the online membership database Eventor. This system is used throughout Australia to manage registration and membership. It is also used for entering orienteering events and to display event information and results. To enter events you need to first register in Eventor as either a Casual Member or as a Full Member of Orienteering WA and ADHOC. Eventor is connected to PayPal which enables users to pay online for club membership and pre-entry to events.

Membership fees for 2024 are $40 for individuals, $80 for families and $20 for juniors.

Membership benefits include:

Discounted entry fees to ADHOC and Orienteering WA events
Discounted entry fees to all Australian orienteering events
Discounted club clothing
Participation in Orienteering WA events can earn points for ADHOC in the interclub competition - we've won it in 2019, 2020 & 2023!
Access to free coaching from an experienced level 2 Orienteering Coach (including weekly running sessions and coaching before/after ADHOC events)
Plenty of scope to become involved in other aspects of the sport of orienteering such as instructing, coaching, mountain bike orienteering, mapping, GPS tracking, juniors – and more!

How to Register with Eventor and then Become a Club Member

Registering and becoming a club member is the same process as joining as a casual but instead of selecting ‘Casuals WA’, please select ‘Orienteering WA’ and ‘ADHOC’. At the end of the process you will be directed to the PayPal page to pay for your membership. If you don't have a PayPal account you can still use PayPal to pay using your credit card. As a member you will get to enjoy discounted entry fees to events and other benefits.

Registering as an Individual Club Member or Casual Member in Eventor

The guide below will take you through how to register each family member and join them together as a family group so that you can enjoy the benefits of family club membership. In the process the first family member registers and then pays for the club family membership via PayPal. The other members are then registered individually and are linked to the same family group but no further payment is required.

How to Renew Membership in Eventor

Eventor uses your previous year’s membership details to create your renewal form for the next year. If you had family membership the previous year, Eventor will prompt you to renew your family membership and all members of the family can be renewed as a batch that requires a single payment in PayPal. If you had individual membership in the previous year you can renew your own membership and can optionally include family or other members of your club in a single payment in PayPal.

The basic process is:

Login to Eventor and then select My pages > My memberships
Click on the ‘renew’ link and check your membership and personal info is correct
Select and add another person from your club if you want to include them in the renewal
Select ‘Next’ on the bottom of the screen, then ‘Save’, then ‘Go to payment page in PayPal’
Complete the payment in PayPal and then check your receipt and memberships
